1. Where is your plantation?
Our plantation is located in the Lojing Highlands, in Gua Musang, Kelantan—the recognized birthplace and original growing region of the authentic Musang King durian.
2. Why is origin important?
The unique soil, altitude, and climate of the Lojing Highlands are what give the Musang King durian its world-renowned rich, bittersweet taste, thick flesh, and vibrant golden-yellow colour. Fruit from the origin region is considered the pinnacle of quality.
3. What durian varieties do you grow?
We specialize in the authentic Musang King (Mao Shan Wang), cultivated at its source. We also grow other premium varieties like Black Thorn.
4. When is the durian season?
The main season in Kelantan typically runs from June to August. Harvesting in the highlands can sometimes differ slightly from lowland plantation.
5. How can I be sure I'm getting authentic Musang King from Lojing?
You are welcome to visit our plantation during harvest season to see it for yourself. Our fruit has the distinctive characteristics: a brownish-green husk with a clear star-shaped pattern at the bottom, thick, creamy golden flesh, and a small seed.
6. Is the orchard open for visits?
Yes, we welcome visitors during the durian season. We highly recommend making a reservation to ensure availability.
